1Your Data Stays on Your Device

All of your financial data (transactions, accounts, budgets, notes) is stored only in the local database on your device. It is never sent to our servers.

2No Account

You do not need to sign up or provide an email address. A Google account is used only for the optional Google Drive backup, if you choose to turn it on (see section 8).

3Encryption

Your data is protected by the app lock (PIN/pattern) and your device's secure storage. We cannot see your PIN or pattern.

4No Tracking

We do not collect advertising identifiers and we do not use third-party tracking tools.

5Notifications

Upcoming payment reminders are generated locally on your device; their contents never leave it.

6Backups

When you create a backup, the file is saved to the location you choose. You stay in control. Automatic on-device backups stay only on this device, encrypted with a device-specific key.

7Financial Agenda

Headlines and market data are fetched from public sources. No personal or financial data of yours is sent to those sources during those requests.

8Google Drive Backup and Google User Data

Google Drive backup is optional and is turned on only when you tap “Connect with Google”.

Data accessed: The app requests only the drive.appdata permission. With it, the app can write and read its own backup files in a hidden app folder in your Google Drive that only ParaNabız can see. It cannot see, read or change any other files in your Drive. The email address of your Google account is stored only on your device, to show which account is connected.

Use: A backup of your financial data is encrypted on your device with a password you choose and uploaded to this hidden folder at most once a day; the 10 most recent backups are kept. These files are used only to restore your data.

Sharing: Backups go directly from your device to your Google Drive; they never pass through our servers. Because they are encrypted, neither Google nor we can read their contents. We do not share Google user data with any third party, sell it, or use it for advertising or AI training.

Retention and deletion: You can disconnect at any time with the switch on the Backup screen. To delete the backups in your Drive, go to Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → ParaNabız → “Delete hidden app data”. You can also remove the app’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

ParaNabız’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
